Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how your personal data is processed when you use the ADES Budget app (the "App").

1) Data controller

The App is developed and operated by Sedat Türk.
Email: sturkpulse@gmail.com
Website: ades-gelir-gider.vercel.app

2) Data we process

  • Account data: email address, user ID and (if you enter it) your name. If you use the app as a guest, only an anonymous user ID is created.
  • Financial records: the income, expenses, installments, accounts/cards, debts, budgets, goals and assets you enter (amount, currency, category, date, note).
  • Receipt photos: only if you attach one to an expense; compressed and stored in storage private to you.
  • Purchase information: your Premium subscription status, product ID and expiry date (verified with Apple; we never access your card details).
  • Preferences: language, currency, notification and suggestion settings.
  • Technical error logs: when the app hits an error, the error message, app version and OS version (linked to your account), used only to fix bugs.

We do not collect location, contacts or health data. Your photo library is accessed only when you pick a receipt, and only for the selected photo. We do not sell your data.

3) Purposes

  • Creating your account and signing you in
  • Storing, syncing across devices and reporting on your records
  • Verifying your Premium subscription and linking it to your account
  • Scheduling payment reminders if you enable them

4) Third-party services

  • Supabase (servers in Frankfurt, Germany): authentication, storage of your data and receipt photos over encrypted connections, error logs. Because of this service your data is processed outside Türkiye (in the EU).
  • Apple: subscription payment and verification.
  • Google (AdMob): showing ads in the free version. See section 6.
  • Meta (Facebook/Instagram): measuring our ad campaigns, only if you allow it. See section 6.
  • CBRT, CoinGecko, Truncgil Finans: currency, gold and crypto prices. No personal data is sent to these services; only prices are requested.
  • The inflation view uses CPI data published by TurkStat, bundled in the app; nothing is sent out.

Suggestions and analytics are calculated from the data you enter; nothing is sent to any AI service.

5) Notifications

Notifications are scheduled locally on your device. You can turn them off anytime in iPhone Settings.

6) Advertising and measurement

The free version shows Google AdMob ads: a small banner at the end of the Home and Records lists, and rewarded ads that play only when you choose to watch one (for extra entries or a 24-hour Premium trial). Occasionally a full-screen ad may also appear when you switch tabs (never in the first 2 minutes after opening the app, at most 3 times per session). New accounts see no banner for the first 3 days.

  • To serve ads, Google processes device and app information, approximate location (from your IP address), ad interactions and, if you allow it, your advertising identifier (IDFA). How Google uses this data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
  • Your advertising identifier is used only if you tap "Allow" on iOS's App Tracking Transparency prompt; otherwise ads are not personalised and the whole app still works. You can withdraw permission anytime in iPhone Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
  • Users in the EU, UK and Switzerland are also asked for consent through Google's consent form.
  • A record of the rewarded ads you watch (type and date) is stored with your account; your reward allowance is calculated from it.
  • Your financial records (amounts, categories, notes, receipt photos) are never shared with advertising or measurement partners.
  • Premium users never see ads.

We promote the app with ads on Facebook and Instagram. To measure how many people install the app from these ads we use Meta's measurement tool (Meta SDK):
• It runs only if you tapped "Allow" on iOS's tracking prompt; otherwise nothing is sent to Meta.
• The only event sent is that the app was installed / opened; along with it Meta receives device information, your IP address and your advertising identifier (IDFA). Your account details, email and financial records are never sent.
• How Meta uses data: www.facebook.com/privacy/policy

If we later use Google Ads measurement tools, this policy will be updated beforehand.

7) Website and cookies

Our website (ades-gelir-gider.vercel.app) currently uses no cookies or analytics. If Google (Google Ads/Analytics) or the Meta Pixel are added later to measure ad campaigns, they will load only after you accept them in the site's cookie notice. You can change your choice anytime via the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page.

8) Retention and account deletion

Your data is kept while your account is open. To work offline, a copy of your records is stored on your device and deleted when you sign out. You can permanently delete your account, all records and receipt photos via Profile > Security and privacy > Delete account; details: ades-gelir-gider.vercel.app/en/delete-account. Guest accounts are deleted on sign-out. Deleting your account does not cancel your Apple subscription; cancel it in iPhone Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

9) Your rights

Under KVKK and GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete and port your data and to object to processing. You can download your records in the app (Profile > Export Data). For other requests email sturkpulse@gmail.com; we reply within 30 days.

10) Children

The App is not directed to children under 13.

11) Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is always available in the App and on our website.
